Skin City Fine Custom Tattooing has been proudly operating since 2017 in the heart of historic downtown St. John’s. You’ll find us at 325 Duckworth Street, inside the iconic Duke of Duckworth building. Now spread across two floors with two studios, Skin City is home to 12 amazing full-time tattoo artists, along with a growing team of talented professionals.

Our current roster includes owner and artist Travis Jones, as well as Kris Lee, Kristina Green, Kayla Gilkinson, Chelsea Whidden, Melissa Ashley, Emily Murphy, Jess Porter, Ryan McNiven, Kathleen Davis, Mike Cooper, Kris Thornhill, and tattoo apprentice Caleb Lee. We’re also proud to offer piercing and tooth gem services from Hannah George, and permanent makeup services by Victoria Browne.

We regularly welcome guest artists from around the world—right now, we’re thrilled to be hosting Steve Bramhallfrom the UK for a limited time.

Our artists specialize in a wide range of tattoo styles, including black and grey realism, colour realism, illustrative, neo-traditional, American traditional, Japanese traditional, and fine line work. Each artist brings their own unique approach to tattooing, working closely with clients to create custom designs that reflect your vision.

All artists handle their own bookings, rates, and availability, so we recommend checking out their individual portfolios to find the best fit for your style. Once you’ve found the right artist, you can contact them directly to start bringing your tattoo idea to life.
